Furniture: Vintage Ventures, Inc., New Bern, NC 28562, warrants to the consumer who makes the original purchase of the Acoustic Life Saver furniture from Vintage Ventures, Inc. or an authorized Vintage Ventures dealer, that the furniture is free from defects in workmanship, material and construction for one year from the date of purchase. In the event that a defect is found, Vintage Ventures, Inc. will either repair or replace the defective item or substitute a different item, in its sole discretion.

Humidity control components: (specifically, humidistat/controller, humidifier, and dehumidifiers) are warranted  for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase.  In the event that a defect is found, Vintage Ventures, Inc. will either repair or replace the defective item or substitute a different item, in its sole discretion.  The specifics of this limited warranty will be included with the owners manual that accompanies the cabinet.  

This warranty will be effective only if the consumer who originally purchases this furniture retains the original sales receipt showing purchase date and terms of sale.

Notes:

• This warranty applies under conditions of normal household use, but does not apply to defects that result from negligence, misuse, accidents, alteration of the product, operator error, or commercial use, nor does it warrant the normal wear of items such as humidifier pads and light bulbs.
• The warranty does not cover damage caused by the use of any humidifier water treatment in the humidifier other than the Dampp-Chaser brand of humidifier treatment.  Other brands may contain chemicals that corrode metal parts, including strings.
•  Fine hairline cracks are part of the normal aging process of wood veneers and are not defects covered by this warranty.
• Product is shipped FOB factory, FFA to customer (if applicable).  Damage caused during shipping is to be addressed to the carrier in the form of a freight claim for damage.  Vintage Ventures will assist the customer in filing this claim.

Claims: Any claim against this warranty must initially be presented to Vintage Ventures, Inc. or to the authorized Vintage Ventures dealer, along with dated proof of purchase. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. VINTAGE VENTURES, INC.,  WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES.  THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THOSE SET FORTH HEREIN.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of damages, so the above exclusions and limitations may not apply to you. In the event the warranty exclusions do not apply to you, then, where legally permissible, such implied warranties are limited in duration to the stated warranty period and no warranties apply after that period. In circumstances in which the warranty provided herein does not apply, the products involved are, where legally permissible, still subject to the above disclaimer of implied warranties and the above limitation of damages. Vintage Ventures, Inc., does not authorize anyone, including its dealers, to create for it any other warranty, obligations, or liability in connection with this product.
